Custom Guitar Finishing
While 3-D Abstract Creations remain to be L. Pellissier’s primary focus, she has enjoyed branching into custom finishes for a variety of products. She first began experimenting with other finishes when she was approached by a professional guitarist who had seen some of her artwork. He was amazed by the detail and  creativity of her work and implored her to do an abstract creation on the body of his  electric guitar. The only suggestion he made was to give him something totally unlike any other guitar he'd ever seen. After careful consideration of color, stage lighting and artistic design, L. Pellissier was able to change an already unique ‘M’ shaped, hot pink, guitar into the ultra flashy ‘Aqua Wave’ guitar shown below. When her customer received his newly refinished guitar he couldn't believe how cool it looked. He agreed that he had never seen anything so radically unique and eye catching.

After L. Pellissier receives a request for commission which includes a small questionnaire, she will begin a preliminary design and color scheme. Upon receipt of an approved color swatch and payment of $495.00, L. Pellissier is ready to begin working as soon as the guitar body arrives at her studio.The design and labor take approximately 3 weeks to complete. This allows time for the protective sealer and lacquer to be fully cured to its durable, high gloss finish.
